THE FAIR!

One of my favorite things to do every year is to go to the fair! I love fair food I know its nothing more then a ton of artery clogging goodness! I had enough fair food within the two hours we where there for three people! Unfortunately I was unable to photograph any of the food do too the umm…fact that I crammed it in my face so fast I for got that the world was still spinning and my camera was on my shoulder! So imagine a nice big fried cheese on a stick, and a tall glass of fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade, fresh roasted corn dripping with butter with garlic salt and pepper, and fried potato spindle things covered in catsup!

We walked through the buildings to see what people were umm “selling” and the women’s building that would be my favorite building I love to see what people hand crafter however I’m always slightly upset that they could let all of those wonderful baked goods go to waste!

We also took a walk down the rides/games area but since we went at lunch time none of it was open which was fine with me! We also journeyed though the livestock building, and the children’s barn, that was little ones favorite part!

This fella tried to give little one a kiss and she freaked out!

I love it when the sky is naturally this blue, and you don't have to photoshop it!

Family Photos

I had the pleasure of joining another photographer friend to take family photos of one of the moms in my playgroup! I must say as a photographer I love photogenic people, I love to be able to flip through the photos and love everyone of them, and that's what I had with this family! They were very natural, and it was hard for me just to pick a few to post really I could have posted all of them!

Race for the cure!

So today I gathered a few friends to walk with me to show our support for the women and families that are dealing with breast cancer and to help find a cure! I do believe they will find a cure in my life time and they have made great advances in the past few years! This cause is near and dear to my heart because I lost my mom to a six year battle with stage four breast cancer! I am so convinced and hopeful for the cure because I never want another Mother, to have to go through this I never want another family to have to watch and not be able to do much but hold a hand, and well I never want a child to lose a mother because of it! I made the girls hair clips and I felt bad I didn't have anything for him...so he made me feel better and wore it for a whole second!

Thanks to the nice people of Blue Bell Ice cream, we all enjoyed ice cream sandwiches!

Two years!

So two years ago we were blessed with a beautiful little girl, this weekend we celebrated her birthday with friends and family.Everything went great...well other then the "special" barbie cake I made for her birthday started too look like it went through an earthquake a few hours after I iced it! The food was good and well little one had a wonderful time!

This is how our day started!

She tore through her gift and then daddy brought out her bicycle

This would be my silly grandpa....this will now be the Christmas cards this year!

Family Fun

I had the pleasure of doing family photos for a friend of sisters! We shot these Sunday night and well I almost didn't think we would be able to get much because it started to rain on us! So we had a lot of fun running around in the rain for awhile, and well its hard to explain to kid why you want to take their photo in an alley! Let me know what you think!
