Christmas

This was such a nice Christmas, not that every other one has not been but it was a very slow not rushed at all! We woke up and did our Christmas together as a family and then that afternoon we went to my aunts house and had christmas with my family and it was a lot of fun. Saturday we had Christmas with half of Josh's family and we should be having Christmas with his parents next weekend I'm not really for sure when so I'll have more photos to post later when we do that christmas.

I got my gift a few days early :) which was nice so I could get it set up and info sent over, but I've been busy and I haven't finished! Santa brought L a V-motion and some new barbies and other little stuff. Santa knew just what J needed, a jumperoo! He was confused with it at first and today well he throws him self all around. It was so fun to watch L and J open their gift!

Too much cuteness

So its been awhile since Josh has been okay with the dog's being inside, but well the kids and I love it! Heres a few of J being well a cute baby and L with her dog stewy!

Busy School days!

So this month was a very busy time for L, she has made and learned so much! A few of the things she made Baby Jesus in a manger, closet pin reindeer, glitter Christmas trees, ginger bread house, and I know I'm forgetting something but she has had so much fun this month with a birthday party for Jesus, and seeing Santa (which was cute because she just giggled and could barely talk and well she didn't want to sit on his lap but she just wanted to look at him and laugh) learning Christmas songs, and having a jammie day watching polar express and having hot chocolate and doing a book exchange! Since they had a pj day and I have just wrapped her new set of princess pj's I thought it would be okay if she had an early gift and well I think she loved it!

Styling hair!

At one point my son had a TON of hair, but he thought he would be better off without it so he pulled most of it out except for what's in the front....and its all coming back in blonde! His hair is kinky curly and thats just the way I fix it ( if I dont fix it he looks like Kramer from Seinfeld) So after bath I thought we would try something new!

Kids are always fun in the bath, and well J has a wonderful time in the bath he might be mad all day but you put him in the bath he's a different kid! My sister also gave him a bath that night and she just couldn't stop laughing when he bent over and went for his toes! Yes he loves to eat his toes! And this would be my new favorite photo of him!

Sweet Pea...Nope

So last saturday we got to start another veggie and I thought oh pea's would be wonderful since L LOVED them, I whipped up a batch and it was time to eat. My sister and her family was over that night so my sister stepped up to feed him so I could capture the moment, and I'm going to take a guess that this might be the only time in his life that he eats pea's! He didn't eat very much before I told my sister that was enough I'll get him something else. Why quit so early you ask well he was gaging and acting like he was choking so yea that was scary. The next night I got out the peas again and he did it again only this time I had to pull him from his seat because well I thought he was really choking.... only gagging thankfully but the pea's have all been thrown away!

So I've been working on getting our christmas cards together and well I needed a photo for it! I was TRYING to get a photo of the kids together, yea that was a joke! I had to get up to try some different lighting and well this is what I found!

Needless to say I finished the cards and they should be printed tomorrow and I should get them mail out by this weekend YEA!!!

Food allergies!

I dont think I've talked much about our food allergy problems. At eight months old I feed L eggs for breakfast I was told she would be fine with them, yea we were in the e.r. not even 10 minutes after she ate them. We had blood work done and also skin testing to find out if there was anything else since my brother youngest son had a peanut allergy. She has anaphylaxis reaction to egg's and peanuts so we've learned to take those things out of our diet and away from her for fear of using an epi pen and her having to take another trip to the e.r. I had a feeling that she might be allergic to peanuts because when she was oh 3 months or younger I noticed that when I ate peanut butter she spit up A LOT, I stopped eating it and she didn't throw up!

Which leads us to today.... so baby J's issues have been getting worse and the meds dont seem to do anything, so why not try taking things out of my diet. I went with out dairy and the whole time I prayed that wasn't it because I LOVE milk, thankfully nope still bad. So I read the list of things that cause the most problems and well the only one that stuck out in my mind that I had daily was wheat! I took wheat out for just two days and that made a world of difference.

And then this afternoon I had some wheat and tonight its back to tossing everything up, and did I mention he hasn't been taking any meds which makes me happy because some of those side affect are just scary! So if you know how to live egg,peanut and wheat free please share with me!

no one feeling will do!

So once again this date has come, and in seven hour this day will be over with. My feeling are mixed and I'm not quite sure what to do with my self. I've cried much less this year but it's only been four years in so many ways it feels like it was just yesterday and then it feels like it's been forever! I often think when something wonderful, super funny for something bad happens oh I've got to tell mom about this one, and I sometimes find my self dialing her number or driving to her house, and well it then hits me that she wont be there! And she already knows what happened and is either happy for me or laughing with me or conforting me. I miss my mom every day of my life some days are far harder than other and I find my self jealous of other people with their moms. But I know that God will and that he has taken care of me. And year after year I'll get better at this, so today I pray that I can be strong and not hit the ground crying and mad and upset that I no longer have her with me for she is in a better place and is no longer in pain.

Sweet Tater!

So one of the best things about a child growing up is giving them new foods and watching them try it! With L she did great with everything and really loved pea's and carrots, and well today she will still eat ANY veggie I put on her plate which I'm thankful for! So the other night I made,( yes I made all of her baby food and I'll make all of his as well) him some sweet potatoes and I had the camera ready for the funny faces or to catch him spit it out... but nope he at every bite and was unhappy when it was all gone! We'll do pea's next week! But I have to say I hope this is a sign that he'll be a great eater like his sister because well I couldn't not stand having to make special food... no wait I wouldn't I'm not a short order cook after all! :)

slacker....

Yes well I know, I admit it! I took NO photos over thanksgiving and I'm not really sure why I didn't, we had a great two-day thanksgiving we spent thursday in Midland which was great Josh was able to see some of his family he doesn't get to see often and of corse the kids and my self got to spend time with them too! And I finally meet one of his cousin, and I'm so glad I was able to meet her she's such a neat person, too bad I dont have a photo to go along with it! We had to be back home that night so my sister and my self could plan out our morning yes we are a few of the nuts out at 3 am and we LOVE IT! And I'm happy to report that I'm done shopping well I have one gift left to get but YEA!!!! And the tree is now up and everything is wrapped and well I can't believe it! And then friday night we had thanksgiving here with my family and it was a lovely dinner! I do have a few photos to share these were after church Sunday I had our fussy/puke boy laughing and talking up a storm it was so cute! And thats miss L with the big leaf she found!

So I was tagged first by Lindsey and then again by Nicole... gee thanks girls! So seven random things about my self!

1. I hate the smell of chemical cleaners...I'm sorry but that "lemon sent" smells nothing like lemon to me, they all make me cough and gag!

2.I never wanted to have kids or be married! But wow how things in life change and I would now do anything for my husband or kids and I'm so blessed to have them!

3. I hide candy in my night stand....

4. I have ocd and I just freak out over things! Like I really wish people would always take there shoes off at the front door, but I dont want to offend or upset anyone so I never ask them too!

5. I love to SING REALLY LOUD in the car, and sometimes I notice people in the cars next to me looking at me, that mostly happens in the summer when people have their windows down!

6. I love the smell of tape and certain plastics...

7. Just saying cough syrup makes me want to throw up!

"Can I hold him?"

Thats the first thing I hear in the morning, and about a million times a day! She loves her brother and I think now that he's bigger and is starting to interact with her more she wants more to do with him! It's very cute and I'm so happy she loves him and wants to play with him! Here are a few recent moments, nothing fancy or anything...mom photos I call them!

Another round!

See this boy...cute I know....screamer yes! He loves to scream but only when no one but mom and dad are around, why well I'm not sure! We did have another doctor appointment friday because well his reflux got slightly better and then worse...how bad you ask well I gave him his reglan and then he ate and four hours later he threw it all up... yes four hours later not good not good at all! So at the doctors office we learned two things, first in two weeks he gained 2 pounds crazy right? and second is we have to go to see a g.i. doctor which I'm not looking forward too. We have upped his reglan since this recent weight gain which has seemed to helped slightly but we'll see!
