"Can I hold him?"

Thats the first thing I hear in the morning, and about a million times a day! She loves her brother and I think now that he's bigger and is starting to interact with her more she wants more to do with him! It's very cute and I'm so happy she loves him and wants to play with him! Here are a few recent moments, nothing fancy or anything...mom photos I call them!

Another round!

See this boy...cute I know....screamer yes! He loves to scream but only when no one but mom and dad are around, why well I'm not sure! We did have another doctor appointment friday because well his reflux got slightly better and then worse...how bad you ask well I gave him his reglan and then he ate and four hours later he threw it all up... yes four hours later not good not good at all! So at the doctors office we learned two things, first in two weeks he gained 2 pounds crazy right? and second is we have to go to see a g.i. doctor which I'm not looking forward too. We have upped his reglan since this recent weight gain which has seemed to helped slightly but we'll see!

Big ambitions

So for awhile now L has told me she wants to be a doctor, and well I think its cute but thought by now she would be saying something else nope! The other night I gave her a long list like school teacher, artist, senator, and so on and she said no mommy a doctor! So I then asked her what type of doctor brain, heart, general, ob/gyn, pediatrician and this is what she told me! well not the exact moment but she's stuck too it!

There's about to be a blogging frenzy! And to kick it off J in his first pair of blue jeans...you'll understand why this is a big day for me later!

Whats the point of a diaper?

It's a simple question and most people would answer it the same to hold the bodily contents of a child! Well I'm starting to disagree! See we were gifted a nice big box of huggies, and yes I was very happy because well thats a TON of diapers that I didn't have to buy! We had the same problem with L so I was a bit nervous but I still thought every kid is different and diapers can work better for some kids then they can for others. Well I've learned these just suck! J poops 3-4 times a day and 2-3 times a day I'm having to strip him replace his clothes and mine or clean what ever he was sitting in! Its been so bad sometimes that its in his armpits and there's NOTHING in the diaper this is very annoying and I still have 2 out of 3 packages of diapers that came in this one box and I'm afraid I just wont be able to use them because they are more work then what they are worth! This is a bit gross I know but this is what I got tonight I have saved the photo of the practically clean diaper for my self I dont think I need to share that! (your welcome)
When I took this I had already wiped off his stomach and arm! so its pretty much just on the diaper now!

3 Years

So today at 12:02 pm we will be celebrating L's third birthday! I still remember ever detail of her birth and really it seem like just yesterday she was born and I was bringing her home! We are so very blessed to have her in our lives she is such an awesome little girl and she is so very sweet!

They say they look alike?

So everyone always says how much J looks like L did when she was a baby I disagree! Yes they have a few of the same features but for the most part I dont think they look alike! I do think he looks like Don Knotts thought! :)




And another funny one!

Two Months

Well we had J's two month check up on the 9th which also happens to be my mom's and brothers birthday! I sent him a super cute video but I dont know if he ever got it! And my family all met up that night for dinner together, we all knew why we were there buy no one said anything but it was nice!

Back to J, he got a ton of shots I had for got how hard it was! But he was weighing in at 10 pounds and 22.5 inches so he has no problem growing! But while we were there we discovered that one of the reason that he is so fussy is because he has reflux! So he's now on Zantac and I'm sure its great stuff if I could get him to take it and keep it down!

LOL yes his eyes always get that big when sister is around! I think he might be slightly scared!

bath time

so baby J's strong point is not being content! But bath time oh its a joy, really! The only time he cries is after the bath is over and I've got to dry him and dress him thats just torture! I've also got bath time down I can bath both of them at the same time and well it works out great!

We'll he's starting to smile and I'm even more in love! Its hard to catch because it doesn't last long since he's just learning how but its so stinking cute! I was smart today and I took my camera with us on a diaper change trip! Yes for some reason my son loves his changing table, I mean he LOVES it. I'm not sure what has made it such a hit but he is always super happy when he's laying on it!

what a sweet seester

L is a wonderful big sister. Yes we have our moments that remind us that she is only 3, like when we yell right over a sleeping baby or try to force a paci in his mouth or taking his toys! We know she means well and she doesn't mean to upset him or make him cry but some times it just happens!

First day!

This morning was L's first day of preschool! It was very difficult to get her to bed last night because she was so excited and all she could do was talk about this morning school day was going to go! And when she woke up she was just as excited!

Although I'm very happy for my little girl and I'm very thankful that she WANTS to go to school I'm a little sad inside she's never done anything like this before no parents day out, and she didn't even really stay with people until her brother was born and she had too. But she was so good she got her backpack and walked in and was just so happy and we found her cubby and she gave me and dad hugs and kisses and off she was! No tears nothing so I really hope today was everything and more that she thought it would be and I'll find out soon since its only half a day! :)

big boy toys are great props!

Yes you read it right! My husband went back to work the other day to show him what I thought about that I used one of his very precious guitars as a prop! I have done pretty good by my self I think, I was really worried about having to do all the night time feedings and still getting up in the morning to function! But I've done it, but keep in mind it was only two night in a row so next week could be a little more interesting! So here are my beautiful children playing with daddy's expensive guitar!

still newborn

so while in the NICU not only was I worried about my baby getting healthy and home, but as a person loving photography I was worried that he might not have that newborn look by the time I got him home and well I NEEDED photos! Lucky for me he still has that newborn look and he's such a little man I love it, I over enjoy holding him and I'm still just so happy to have him home that I can't ever put him down! Oh yea he's a thumb sucker too, well only when he can't find that paci!
