Three year photos!

It's so hard for me to believe that my sweet little girl is already three and well somedays she acts like she about to be 13!

One more time!

So I gave it one more shot this evening with clothes on and it when slightly better!

Happy fall

So its a lovely day today, hard to think its mid october and 78 outside! I had plans of putting my child in a pumpkin because I remembered when my friend lfhcreative shoving her son in a pumpkin and then more recently her daughter! Well needless to say my son is not so happy about it! I think it was because it was cold! because when I wrapped the towel around him before I put him in he was happy I just happened to get a pink towel! And miss L got to pant her pumpkin!

Monkey bread!

Its a wonderful treat thats super easy to make and great for kids to help out with!

How too:
You'll need :
2 10oz cans of biscuits
1 stick of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of sugar
3 tablespoons of cinnamon
pecans or walnuts, if you want!
bundt pan

in a pan heat butter and brown sugar together, while thats melting together cut the biscuits into four pieces. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl or bag, roll the biscuit pieces in it.

Spray your bundt pan, and if you want nuts then they are your first layer, add half of the biscuit pieces and then pour half of the brow sugar/ butter mixture over them, and repeat. Bake at 350 for 35 min, and let cool for ten!

Big ambitions

So for awhile now L has told me she wants to be a doctor, and well I think its cute but thought by now she would be saying something else nope! The other night I gave her a long list like school teacher, artist, senator, and so on and she said no mommy a doctor! So I then asked her what type of doctor brain, heart, general, ob/gyn, pediatrician and this is what she told me! well not the exact moment but she's stuck too it!

Farm+Wind= eating dirt!

This past weekend we went do to midland so J could meet his other grandparents, its crazy to think thats he's already three months old and they haven't seen him! I was very worried about traveling with him for many reasons first was how was he going to sleep, (he did pretty good naps were a bit off) And how would he do in the car ( the was down there was a breeze but he screamed for about 20 min on the way home) And second is he is at higher risk to illnesses that I'm so scared he'll get sick and have to go back into the hospital ( I have the lovely nicu people to thank for that fear) but I know its true and that we are going to have to be homebodies this winter so we dont catch any nasty bugs! I remember when we took L for her first trip to midland and she was two months old, and she got sick so I think that also feed my fear!

While we were there we went out to a farm and it was a lot of fun we went down the big slide and L had a blast as soon as we got down she wanted to go again but was soon distracted by the time Josh got there with my camera! So I missed that one...booo!

addiction

Yes I figured out half of my problems today! I've been bummed about not getting into my pre-pregnancy pants yet, and I know I shouldn't be and I should just move on but I kid you not I was in my normal clothes two weeks after having L! Well today I thought to my self that my closet was a wreck and I should at least put up my maternity clothes. Well while getting those all out I was trying to try on some of my old jeans to see if any of them fit, yea no they dont so since they take up so much room I thought I would just take them down and put them on the shelf....a few hours later I only had 4 pairs of jeans hanging up! and 32 pairs of jeans and 10 pairs of pants folded up and in the top of my closet! And it hit me then I have an addiction to jeans really why on earth would someone need that many pairs? And I think thats why I've been so upset about not fitting into them because I'm addicted to them and its like I can't have them.... so I guess I'm just going to have to so shopping and hope that some day I can fit back into these because I have a lot of favorite pairs!

Look at that!

No really look at his cute little butt sleeping on daddy! I think it might be those pants but whatever it is I love it!

I was thinking the other night while I was holding my boy I dont have really any photos of the two of us together so I asked Josh to take few for me and well yea I look like a nut in almost all of them because I was trying to get him to smile but he was just amazed by the flash!

Race for the cure '08

So this year like years past we got up early and headed down town for the race for the cure! This year there were over 7,000 people there which is awesome and they raised 370,000 and most of that stays here! I'm a huge supporter of Susan G. Komen they are really great about taking very little from every dollar! And since I lost my mom to breast cancer and my grandmother just beat breast cancer I really need them to find a cure! I was so excited this year when we were walking up I saw a good friend, she used to work with my mom and she her self has beat breast cancer! She was so sweet to give lily her bracelet and well that put her over the moon!
