finger paint...

We had a fun afternoon last week, I let both kids finger paint! Yes scratch your head and think to your self really a 8 month old baby finger painting? Why yes... its non toxic and I really did my best to not let him eat any of it and baths came right after this but they both had a ton of fun, and I have wonderful pictures they made! L was not that messy although I told her I didnt care if she rolled in the paint she kept it to her hands... silly girl

We now stand up

EVERYWHERE!!!! This is so hard for me to believe that my little baby is standing up... with the help of objects or people! He's all over the place thank goodness for baby gates! His other new things is to stick his tongue out!

So new

So last weekend even with nasty weather we got out... and good thing we did! We found an awesome deal on a point and shoot camera I/We have been wanting. So we got it and said it was for our 4th wedding annivsary which will be on the second... crazy right. So I love it, its perfect it fits in my back pocket so now I always have a camera with me and it doesn't weight 9 pounds!
So these are all from saturday morning, we got up and the kids played together( this is a new thing and I totally love it) She crawls and he goes after her they share toys, all of which are baby toys! And they just laugh together and well really its the best thing ever!



After playtime L and I headed out to the mall...I never go to the mall so I was confused a few times with stores moving and what not! But our goal for the trip was to spend time together and to get her a new pair of croc's. See this time last year I had already bought them they were every where and easy to find... not the case this year. Yes stores had croc's but just not kids and if they did there was not to pick from it was very strange so we walked the whole mall more than once trying to find a pair she liked. And we did... HOT pink but they had to have princesses which was fine and then when we got home I had to put her woody and jessie in them from last year!





After that we head out for a few more earns and well dad ran into the music store which I'm not a fan of on the weekends because you can't walk in that place. I stayed in the car with the kids, and well two seconds after sitting there J started to cry so I jumped back there with camera in hand! L was asleep and well J was happy as long as I was acting silly!

Texture

So I've been playing around with texture now for a few months and I've got to say I love it! It add a whole different feel, I just bought Brenda's texture set and I have enjoyed playing with them today... I haven't had just a ton of time but look what I did :)
I used the Slate texture for this one it was hard to pick!

Hungry Man

In one day this is what he had to eat,

8 oz bottle at 5 am

Gerber bowl of oatmeal, and baby food bananas at 7:30

Nursed on both sides at 8:30

Hand full of goldfish crackers at 11 am

4 ounce jar of food, and 4 ounce carrots at 12

8 oz bottle at 1 pm

Another handful of goldfish at 3pm

Nursed on both sides 5pm

Whole Banana, gerber bitter biscuit, 1/2 cup of cooked pasta, 4 oz veggie, and 6.5 oz baby food, 4 oz peaches, and a few more goldfish for dinner

Nursed again on both sides at 8pm

and all this food made him very happy

And my pretty little lady!

When daddy plays guitar L always joins in with here barbie guitar and I'm sure J will get his own guitar soon too.

a typical night at our home!

So we generally just sit around hang out and play together, and sometimes these moments are captured well this night we just happened to be in our room and my camera was right there! My children are goof balls, I would not be shocked if they are the class clowns!

I also believe in birth order personality's and these two I will always remember L in the back ground being quite and just watching and J trying to get into everything!
