Papa

So for the first time since he's been here my grandpa held J! My papa has never wanted to hold him because he claims he's too floppy and just to little! Well I had to help L and my grandma put together the "dont break the ice" game and well J had to go some where, and I think he loved it he sure was happy!

I didn't pay really close attention to the details of my papa's hand when I took this so I was so warmed when I saw the photo! Notice his pinky? Yea its not all there, and thats some what my fault well kind of not really! He lost the top of his pinky while making me a huge dresser! I wasn't there when he did it so thats why its not my fault, but he blames me since he was making it for me, he's been working with wood for his whole life and he does amazing thing! So this photo will forever be special to me not only because it is J and papa but because its his pinky he lost for me!


This is Mazie, my papa had been wanting a dog and not just any old dog he wanted a miniature schnauzer which I thought was a fantastic idea since I grew up with one and he was a fabulous dog! They've had her for over a month now and I think she is doing a great job and keeping them busy and making them smile and being a wonderful dog even though she's chewed up a lot of stuff! BTW Mazie was a rescue dog.
