its apple season!

Well at my house anyways...and I don’t mean the kinds that fall off trees! If you only remember one thing that I ever tell you let it be pay extra for the service plan! 3 1/2 years my lovely husband bought the biggest TV 65" that the store had he paid a lot for it and he was smart and got the service plan! Well at the end of august the TV just went out! Luckily we were still in the four year time period so we called and started the ball rolling they sent out a TV repair person and he said it "Might" be the main component but was not really sure but he would go ahead and order it and try to fix it! Well a few weeks past and still no TV and well we are TV addicts so we went a head and bought a sweet 42" LCD flat screen it rocks my world! So last week the TV repair guy came back to put the new component in and guess what it didn’t work he said he would have to try a few more parts and even then he was not sure if it would fix it! The whole time I was praying that it would be totaled out and the store would just give us the money for it! Well Monday we got a call and the TV would not be fixable! YAY but well there was a catch they said they would give us store credit for another TV...we didn’t want another TV because we loved the one we had just bought! Friday night we hauled the big ol' 65" to the store and they gave us store credit to what ever we wanted! So papa got me a new computer and not just any old computer he got me a MAC I'm so happy you have no idea this is my first apple so learning everything and wondering what I'm going to do with all my programs and my barely one year old laptop! Anyways if you know any Mac tips you think I should know please let me know!
