First thing is I have a mommy friend who knits wonderful sock monkeys and I had talked to her about getting one, the week before christmas because that was the only thing I could think of to put in his stocking.... and I got a sad phone call a few days before Christmas that the monkey didn't make it threw the wash (friend I still want one of your monkeys)! So in a panic I didn't know what to do I knew they had some at the store but well anyone can get one of those so I found a how to on sock monkey's so I found a new pair of socks in the back of josh's draw and whipped out a monkey!
Well then a few weeks ago I ordered Amy butlers book little stitches and well I so badly wanted to buy TONS of fabric... so I did! Another one of my mommy friends who moved over the summer just had a little girl and what kind of person would I be if I didn't send stuff! So I made her a sling, and I must say I loved the fabric! And of course I emborred burp rags (I really love my sewing machine), well in my new amy butler book there was the CUTEST pattern for baby booties and although I already had a pattern and new how to make some I had to try these and they were not easy but I can't to make J a pair!
Have I mentioned I've also started to take up knitting which means I've bought all the stuff and have tried over and over but somethings just not clicking, and well knitting is fantastic because when I dont like it I just pull it off and start over! Maybe I'll have something sometime to post!
