Ladybug Oh Ladybug....

Miss L's class released and caught ladybugs today at school! When I picked her up she was so excited to show me her two ladybugs! Everyone one else in the class had tons of bugs in their jars? Then her teacher filled me in, as soon as she would put one in there she let it go because it wanted to go back to its family! Her teacher said there were still a ton out side so we stopped outside and helped her find some more! Needles to say we had a ton. I poked a few holes in the lid and told her she could keep them and after dinner she'd have to put them outside so they would live.

We went outside and told her what to do with the jar and just to let them climb out, after all they are wonderful for my garden! And cue the water works! Once they started to leave she started to cry and tried to catch them all over again saying she just couldn't let them go! It was so cute and sad at the same time I told her that most of them would stay in the garden and would help our food stay good and without bad bugs...
