NO MORE DIAPERS!!!

Okay I have to say my little one is a little over two and half, and well totally gets life but well she liked her pull ups. And was very open about it, and would tell me "Mommy I don't want to use the potty, I like my diapers" And well we knew we had to do something almost a year ago when she would run up to us to let us know she was dirty, and after the change she would tell you thank you! I did buy her a potty chair at 15 months, and she used it a little then, wasn't such a big deal and I never pushed her. Well this fall she will be starting preschool and one kicker is she has to be potty trained, which I knew would not be a problem since she gets the concept it's just a matter of wanting too and well my child is VERY stubborn. But since she is SO VERY EXCITED about being able to go to school (like the only kid in the world) she said one day she wanted to wear big girl panties, and so I had no problem with that. Well I have to give a lot of credit to my sister because that very day we went and ran to a few stores and I wanted to put her in a pull up so badly and she wouldn't let me! well its been a little over a week and half, and she has done FANTASTIC! We still have a few accidents, but I dont even have to ask her if she needs to go, she just gets up and goes! Today at nap time she freaked out because she had an accident, which was in a pull up because I'm not about to wash bedding every time she gets up, she was very upset with her self and I felt bad that she was taking it so hard, but it also made me so proud of her. And I really hope you can tell how proud I am because I really think this has to be the longest blog posting I've ever done!

Once again she is playing in something, this just happens to be the storage ottoman in her brothers room!
